This Code of Conduct contains the basic principles and rules for acting within our company, in our relationships with our customers and suppliers and with the public. We are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, respecting human rights and social standards and protecting the environment.
Business ethics
We are committed to complying with the law, respecting human rights and, in particular, respecting human dignity.
We demand the highest level of integrity in all business activities and relationships. We combat all forms of corruption, money laundering, bribery, extortion and embezzlement. Conflicts of interest with private interests or other economic activities must be avoided from the outset.
We stand for fair competition and comply with the applicable legal regulations and antitrust laws that protect free competition.
We undertake to comply with and ensure compliance with all applicable data protection laws and to maintain strict confidentiality regarding confidential business secrets, including vis-à-vis third parties. Intellectual property belonging to us or third parties is strictly protected as confidential information. The use of plagiarism is prohibited.
All products and services must meet the contractually agreed quality and safety criteria upon delivery and be safe to use for their intended purpose.
We maintain our books and records in accordance with applicable law and generally accepted accounting principles.
We comply with all applicable import and export control laws, sanctions and embargoes.

Occupational safety is an integral part of all operational processes and is included in the technical, economic and social considerations right from the planning phase. The relevant laws, ordinances, regulations and relevant company rules are complied with.
Prevention, the proactive implementation of measures to maintain the safety and thus the health of our employees, is a high priority in our company; the focus here is on the continuous improvement of occupational safety.
Managers take responsibility for the duties assigned to them and set an example. Occupational safety is an absolute management task.
Successful occupational safety depends on the involvement and cooperation of all employees.
Employees contribute to the achievement of occupational safety targets within the scope of their own responsibility.
The same safety standards apply to external company employees as to our own employees. This is taken into account when selecting and working with external companies.
Our "Occupational Safety Principles", which are available in their current form, form the basis for the implementation of our occupational safety management.
Environmental protection
In principle, all applicable laws and standards as well as recognized international standards for environmental protection must be complied with.
We are committed to the conscious use of natural resources, increasing energy efficiency, using renewable energies and
Reduction of environmentally harmful emissions, greenhouse gases and waste. Care must be taken to ensure that air and water quality are maintained.
We support the responsible procurement of raw materials and prohibit the use of raw materials that are obtained illegally or in an ethically reprehensible manner.
All products manufactured along the supply chain must meet the environmental protection standards of their respective market segment.
Chemicals and other substances that pose a risk if released into the environment must be identified. A hazardous substance management system must be set up for them so that they can be safely handled, transported, stored, reprocessed or reused and disposed of using suitable procedures.
